What is Antilag?

Antilag is an advanced feature designed to reduce turbo lag. It works by retarding the ignition timing and adding extra fuel (and sometimes air) to balance an inherent loss in combustion efficiency with increased pressure at the charging side of the turbo. You can use an extra ignition map copy for simulating antilag

Activation and Deactivation of Antilag

• Note: It only works if cruise option has been selected for mapswitch. It can't be triggered if you are in mapswitch mode and vice-versa.
• Activation: Press and hold the cruise minus (-) button to activate Antilag. In this mode, map_5 is used for every ignition maps.
• Deactivation: Release the minus (-) button to exit Antilag mode.
• Safety Feature: If Antilag safety is enabled, Our custom code will automatically switch off antilag mode (even if button is pressed) to protect the engine. To re-enter Antilag, release and press the button again.

How Antilag Works

• Control Methods:
  • Antilag is compatible only with the cruise control method for map switching. It cannot be used if map switch mode is active.
  • When Antilag is activated, map_5 is applied.

Antilag Configuration Details

• Configurable Parameters: If you have purchased the Antilag feature, additional configurable parameters may be available to fine-tune performance.
• al_acc_ped_thr: Minimum accelerator pedal angle to trigger Antilag.
• al_eng_speed_min: Minimum RPM required for Antilag activation.
• al_eng_speed_max: Maximum RPM threshold for Antilag operation.

Example Map Configuration with Antilag

Antilag will default to map_5 across all map slots. For instance, users with multiple map slots may configure as follows:

• map_1: Stock configuration for regular driving.
• map_2: Custom tuning for performance applications.
• map_3: Advanced tuning for racing.
• map_4: A map optimized for extreme performance scenarios.
• map_5: The dedicated Antilag map, which activates when Antilag is engaged.
