> Tangent Motorsport builds software-only solutions for automotive ECU custom code. We provide tools for professional tuners to enhance their own calibrations. We do NOT offer tuning services or pre-made tunes.

## Overview

Tangent Motorsport specializes in reverse-engineering modern ECUs and delivering switchable, feature-rich binaries. Our tools allow tuners to integrate advanced functionality such as map switching, antilag, and exhaust control into their own files.

Primary ECU platforms:
- Bosch: MG1, MED17, ME17, MED9, EDC15, EDC17
- Siemens/Continental: SIMOS18

## Core Features (Structured)

### MapSwitch (Multimap)
- Purpose: Switch between multiple engine maps in real time
- Max Maps: Up to 5
- Activation:
  - Brake + accelerator pedal
  - Cruise control buttons
- Mapping Logic:
  - map_1 = 1000 RPM (stock)
  - map_2 = 2000 RPM
  - etc.

### Antilag (AL)
- Purpose: Reduce turbo lag using ignition retard + fuel enrichment
- Activation: Cruise control minus (-)
- Behavior: Forces map_5 across ignition maps
- Parameters:
  - al_acc_ped_thr
  - al_eng_speed_min
  - al_eng_speed_max
- Requirement: Cruise-control-based switching

### PopSwitch
- Purpose: Toggle pops and bangs
- Activation:
  - Brake + accelerator
  - Cruise cancel button
- Behavior:
  - ON → pops active
  - OFF → map_5 (disabled)

### MG1 Multi-File Tool
- Purpose: Merge multiple calibration files into one binary
- Input Files: 2–8 + 1 quick-toggle slot
- Output: Single switchable file
- Updates: Unlimited per VIN

- Autotuner bench reads (combined iflash0/1)
