What is Popswitch?
PopSwitch is a dynamic feature that allows users to enable or disable pops and bangs from the exhaust system (or customize other similar performance features), adding an extra layer of excitement to the driving experience. With PopSwitch, you can quickly toggle the "pop" feature on or off, creating a thrilling exhaust sound profile that matches your mood and style.
On/Off State of Popswitch
- Off State: When the RPM needle is at 7,000 RPM, Popswitch is turned off, and map_5 (pop disabled) is active.
- On State: When the RPM needle is at 8,000 RPM or higher, Popswitch is turned on, and the map in the current slot (map_1 to map_4) is selected.
How Popswitch Works
- Universal On/Off Control:
- Popswitch has a single on/off setting that applies across all map slots. Once activated, it remains on regardless of the selected map slot, ensuring consistent behavior across your driving profiles.
- If Popswitch is set to "off" in any map slot, it’s off in all map slots. When turned back on, it re-enables the pop feature across all map slots without needing individual adjustments.

To use the Popswitch feature, follow these instructions based on your preferred control method:

- Keep the brake pedal pressed and toggle the accelerator pedal to 100% and release to switch Pop mode on or off.

Example Map Configuration with Popswitch
For users who have selected four map slots, here’s how Popswitch works with your map copies:
- map_1: (1,000 RPM) The default or stock map with no custom tuning.
- map_2: (2,000 RPM) A direct copy of the stock map for a different tuning profile.
- map_3: (3,000 RPM) Another copy of the stock map, customizable to a specific calibration.
- map_4: (4,000 RPM) A final copy of the stock map, allowing additional tuning variations.
- map_5: Can be customized as a special map configuration, such as a map with pops and bangs disabled, which is used whenever PopSwitch is set to "off."
When Popswitch is on, the map copy for the selected slot (map_1 to map_4) is used. When it is off, map_5 is applied, such as providing a quieter exhaust profile without pops and bangs.
